| Daisy Leona Wehling Dierksen, 88, of Lahoma died Friday, November 30, 2007. She was born January 30, 1919 north east of Hennessey to August and Carrie Hawk Wehling. She attended school in Hennessey and Enid. Daisy married Harvey Dierksen November 3, 1946 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Lahoma. They lived northeast of Ames. She liked to sew for her family and to cook their favorite foods. She belonged to Ladies Aid, LWML of the Zion Lutheran Church, Lahoma Economy Club and also taught Sunday school for 28 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey, March 28, 2004, her son, Dennis, May 25, 1982; five brothers and four sisters. She is survived by two daughters, Patty Gilson and husband Lee of Plano, TX; Jolene Stevens and husband Jerry of Broken Arrow; six grandchildren: Kristen, Todd and his wife Kristin, Jill, Tricia and husband Mike, Traci and husband Kendall, T.J. and husband Bobby; six great grandchildren: Ellis, Simon, Isaiah, Zachary, Emma, and Alec; a sister Evelyn Kelley of Derby, Kansas. The service will be 2:00 pm, Monday, December 3, 2007 at the Zion Lutheran Church of Lahoma with Rev Eric Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church with the funeral home as custodian of the funds. Condolences may be emailed to the family at ladusauevans@suddenlinkmail.com. |
