| The mass of Christian burial for Lincoln (Linc) Donehue, age 83 will be held Monday, September 8, 2008 at 1:00 pm at St Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Rev Larry Kowalski will officiate. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Sunday evening at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Linc was born March 23, 1925 in Luystown, MO to Peter F and Anna Nilges Donehue and died September 4, 2008. He was raised in Linn, MO where he graduated from high school. He enlisted in the service but did not serve because of health problems. He then worked in defense plants at St. Louis, MO until 1947 when he began his career in consulting engineering in civil, electrical telephone and oil and gas. He married Dorothy (Dart) Donehue on May 7, 1949 in Rogers, AR. He began doing electrical REA projects in Missouri then moved to Oklahoma doing telephone systems and later oil and gas. He was a Registered Land Surveyor in Oklahoma. In 1991 he formed L. Donehue Company. In 1969 he and his wife Dart became Amway Distributors. He was a member of the St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and a 4th Degree of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his children: Pat Donehue and wife Nancy of Edmond, OK, Alan Donehue and wife Mary of Enid, OK, Jeannie Wagner and husband Bill of Enid, and Nancy Jaeger and husband John of Pt St. Lucie, FL; eight grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Vogel and Eula Schepers both of Jefferson City, MO; brothers, Don Donehue and Richard Donehue both of Jefferson City, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Dart. Memorials may be made to St Gregory the Great Catholic Church Food Pantry with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds.
