Geneva was born October 14, 1913 in Rentiesville, OK to LeRoy and Rosie Nears and died at St Mary’s Regional Medical Center, October 26, 2009. She married Leo B Escoe on December 22, 1941 in Kansas City, MO. He has preceded her in death. Geneva was a faithful church member of Grayson Missionary Baptist Church, a member of the WMU, and she sang in the choir. She was a hard working domestic worker, retiring in the late sixties. She was a great mother, homemaker and had a wonderful sense of humor. She will be greatly missed. Survivors include, her children: Marie Foster and husband Edwin of Los Angeles, CA, Clyde LaMar of Las Vegas, NV, Leo B Escoe Jr and wife Jean of Detroit, MI, Beverly Luster of Enid, OK, Richard Escoe and wife Charlotte of Edmond, OK and Shirley Escoe of Enid, OK; 19 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; sisters, Susie Nears of Rentiesville, OK amd Naomi Walton of Wichita, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leo and three brothers. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds.
