| A Graveside service for Gary G. Griffith age 44 of Enid will be 11 a.m. Wednesday December 24, 2008 at the Memory Garden Chapel in the Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Dave Jones officiating. A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2008 in the Oakwood Christian Church with Rev’s Dave Jones, Roy Wahlgren, and Dan O’Daniel officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Gary was born January 15, 1964 in Charleston, West Virginia to Gary F. and Dorothy (Dot) Kinney Griffith and passed away at his home after a battle with cancer. Gary was raised in the Aline/Cleo Springs community where he graduated from Aline/Cleo Springs High School in 1982. He attended Northwestern State College. He married Sherri D. Fitzgerald on September 4, 1998 in Las Vegas, NV. At a young age he worked at the Dillard’s Champlin service station in Cleo Springs, later working for the James Crabtree Correctional Center. He began a career with the U. S. Postal Service working in Hennessey, Enid, acting Postmaster in Cleo Springs and Medford, and later became the Postmaster in Goltry and Waukomis. He was a member of the Cleo Springs Christian Church. Gary is survived by his wife Sherri of the home, parents Dan and Dot Baker of Cleo Springs, two brothers D. L. Griffith of Parker, AZ and Dean Bond of Newcastle, OK, one step sister Reyna Keltch of Longdale, OK. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters in laws also survive him.
