Lucille Opal Grimm went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at
her home in Claremore, OK.  She was born in Mutual, OK, November 25, 1913 to
John Byers and Bertha Melvina (Kirkwood) Nelson.  She graduated from Mutual
High School in 1930.  She married Garland E Grimm, March 15, 1937 and they
made their home in Enid, OK.  She was a longtime member of Davis Park Christian
Church, Dorcas Women’s Group, and a member of the Daughters of the American
Revolution. She also worked as Registrar for the State Election Board.  She was
preceded in death by her husband Garland, brother, Kenneth Nelson and her
parents.

Lucille lived a long and full life with her family and friends.  She enjoyed traveling
with her family from California to Florida and Canada to Mexico.  She also had a
very memorable trip to the Holy Lands with her Davis Park Church family.  She
enjoyed many breakfasts with the Enid retired school teachers before moving to
Claremore in 2001.  She enjoyed time with her family, friends.

Surviving are her son, Darryl and wife Linda of Claremore, OK; granddaughter
Stacie Boyd and husband Jolen; great-grandsons Gabriel and Zachariah all of
Slick, OK; and many dear cousins and friends.

Services will be graveside, Friday, June 13, 2008 at 11:00 am at Memorial Park
Cemetery.  Rev Alan Seibel will officiate.  Arrangements are made by Ladusau-
Evans Funeral Home.
