Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Thomas was born February 13, 1946 in Kermit, TX to Bailey and Norma Ashley Jacobs Shipman and passed away Sunday, January 4, 2009, at his home. Thomas married Meloney Lynn Collins on October 20, 1990 in Enid, OK. Thomas served in the US Navy and the US Army. Thomas was a truck driver for Miller Truck Lines for several years. He enjoyed bowling and fishing. He is survived by his wife M. Lynn of the home, his children Joel Jacobs, of OKC, Michelle Emmerson and her husband Matt of Enid, Joshua Cotrell, Stacy Cotrell, Dustin Cotrell, Megan Jacobs, Toby and Tyler Foster all of Enid, 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, two brothers Bailey and his wife Mayetta Jacobs of Maryland, Robert and his wife Jane Jacobs and one sister Joanne Taylor and her husband Dale of Pampa, TX, step father Joel Shipman of Purcell, OK He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Tommy, Jr, and one niece Amanda.
