| The funeral service for LeRoy Kehnemund, age 82 will be held Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Zion Lutheran Church of Lahoma. Pastor Eric Brown will officiate. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Lahoma, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. LeRoy was born October 21, 1927 in Lahoma, OK to Joseph and Marie Kehnemund and died April 18, 2010 in Oklahoma City, OK. He attended the Lutheran Parochial School and Lahoma High School. He served in the Air Force during WWII. He married Constance Claunch but later divorced. He then married Dorothy Baker Hadley and they were happily married 35 years. LeRoy was a farmer and a rancher committed to being a steward of God’s land. Survivors include: his wife Dorothy of the home, one son, Clayton Kehnemund and wife Gail of Tucumcari, NM; daughter, Olive Marie Bowen and husband Bill of Willow Springs, MO and Robin Hadley of Lahoma, OK; grandchildren: Candice Blaylock, Melanie Powers, Amanda Carpenter, David Hadley, Jennifer Knapp, Bobbi Gregory, Raymond LeRoy Bowen and Marie Bowen; great grandchildren: Taylor, Colten, Colby, Kendyl, Alex, Jax and Samantha and Kehnemund. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Trientze Jennine, two brothers, Virtus and Duane and his parents, Joe and Marie Kehnemund.
