m. Saturday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bison. A bible wake will be 6:30
p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church at Bison with Father Roberto Quant
officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Calvary Cemetery, Hennessey
under direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Jim was born October 17, 1935 on the Centennial Farm near Waukomis, to
Joseph Mathew Kokojan and Adella Ann Walta and passed away May 27, 2009
in St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
He was raised in the Waukomis community where he attended school.
Jim married Marlene Apel on October 24, 1959 in Bison, OK.

He farmed and was a cattleman in the Waukomis/ Bison area.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church at Bison, Knights of
Columbus, Oklahoma Cattleman’s Association and the National Cattleman’s
Association.

Jim is survived by his wife Marlene of the home, two daughters Janelle M. Sharp
of Enid, Lori A. Day, two sons, James Robert Kokojan and Joseph Mathew
Kokojan, one sister Jeanette Allen of Enid, 6 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to the Jimmy Kokojan Soil Conservation Scholarship
Fund or St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bison with Ladusau-Evans Funeral
Home serving as custodians of the fund.
