beloved husband, James L Lack.  She was born November 29, 1923 in Kingfisher,
OK to Reuben and Grace Tinder.

Betty is a lifelong resident of Enid, OK graduating from Enid High School in 1942.
In 1942 she married Nelson Jack Hobbs, Sr.  From this union they had four
children.  In 1959, she married James L Lack. From this union they had two
daughters.

Betty is survived by three daughters, Nelda Hobbs, Beverly Wlodarski of Oklahoma
City, Frieda Kliewer and husband Glenn of Fairview and Beth Steier and husband
Ted of Enid.  She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren,
one very special friend Jolina Hoss of Enid and one sister, JoAnn Peterman of
Enid, OK.

A graduate from Enid High School, Betty worked for Montgomery Wards and J C
Penneys for many years.  After 23 years she retired from Bass Baptist Integris
Hospital where she worked as a nursing assistant.  Her family was the focus of
her life.  She enjoyed summers at the River with her children, gardening, visiting
with friends, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Nelson Jack Hobbs, Jr; Kurt Douglas
Hobbs, Sr; infant daughter, Tammy Dianne Lack; five siblings and parents,
Reuben and Grace (Porter) Tinder.

It is with great sadness that we had to let her go, but it is with great joy that we
know she is finally free of pain, in Heaven resting in God’s loving and caring arms.
She was truly loved by all of us and will be greatly missed.  Good bye, Mom.
