The funeral service for Ava Maxine Letteer, age 89 will be held Thursday, Steve
Littrell and Rev Jack Devine will officiate.  Burial will be in the Memorial Park
Cemetery, Enid, OK.  Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Ava was born September 4, 1918 in Hunter, OK to Edwin L and Fannie Kate
(Grimes) Brower and died December 7, 2007 in Enid, OK.  She graduated from
the Hunter High School in 1936.  For the last five years she resided at Greenbrier
Assisted Living.

She married Kenneth Field Letteer on July 28, 1946 in Perry, OK .  He preceded
her in death in 1992.  To this union were born two sons, Mike and Kim, and a
daughter, Rebecca.

Ava was a member of the United Methodist Church where she was active as a
Sunday school teacher and involved in the United Methodist Women; she was a
member of the Country Club Homemakers; and was on the Hunter Election
Board.  She loved sewing, cooking and needlework.

She is survived by her sons Mike Letteer and his wife Barbara of Garber and Kim
Letteer of Enid; two grandchildren: Andy Rowe and Katie Rowe of San Jose, CA;
and one sister, Elinor Hergert and husband Clyde of Petaluma, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kenneth, two brothers,
George Brower and Harold Brower, two sisters, Myrtle Divine and Francis Nelson
and one daughter, Becky Rowe.

Memorials may be made to the Hunter United Methodist Church with
Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds.  Condolences may be
