Kenneth Luin Marney was born January 15, 1919 to Sylvan L and Loretta Bell Dale
OK and passed away on March 10, 2010, 6:30 am at home on the farm where he
was raised.

He was a farmer and rancher all of his life.  Working at the Drummond Elevator
part time also the pipe line.  He attended the Wildwood County School.

Kenneth loved to travel and upon his retirement he and his wife Erma went to Port
Isabel, TX.  He loved to fish and garden, taking great pride in his cantaloupe and
watermelons.

On November 12, 1938 he married Erma Laverne Hager who was the love of his
life and the most beautiful girl in Enid, OK.  They enjoyed 71 ½ years of marriage.  
He said he must have been smitten the first time they met.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Viola Van Meter.

Surviving are his wife, Erma of the home and 4 children: Danny and wife Betty of
Hennessey, OK, Gary and wife Lora of Dumas, TX, Kenny and wife Kathy of Enid,
OK and daughter Nikki Marney of Enid, OK; 13 grandchildren, 25 great
grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

Services will be held Friday, March 12, 2010 at 10:00 am at the United Church of
Christ, Drummond, OK.  Rev Bud Ruggia, Rev Gordon Epps and Rev Danny
Marney will officiate.  Burial will be in the Del Norte Cemetery, Drummond, OK.  
Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.  
Memorials may be made to the United Church of Christ of Drummond with
Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds.  Condolences may be
