The funeral service for Martha Mae Mason, age 76 will be held Monday, April 21,
2008 at 1:00 pm at the Willow View United Methodist Church.  Rev Lesly
Broadbent will officiate.  Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.  
Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Martha was born July 17, 1931 in Protection, Kansas to George Harvey and Vida
Ella (Madsen) Hern and died April 17, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Integris Bass Baptist
LTACH Unit in Enid, OK. She entered St. Mary’s ICU on November 13, 2007 with
pulmonary difficulties and was later transferred to LTACH in January 2008. After
her struggle, she left her loved ones to walk hand and hand with our Lord.  

She married Darrel G Mason on August 14, 1949 in Manchester, OK at the
Methodist Church. They started their new life together in Alva and later moving to
Enid in 1950. She worked at Longbell Lumber Co and Herzburg clothing store.
Darrell and Martha moved to El Paso, TX in 1951 to Biggs AFB where their first
child Gary Lee was born and died at birth. They came back to Enid in December
1952 and their second child Jackie Ray was born and died at birth.  Martha
worked at Owens Supply Company for 18 years and moving back to Central
National Bank retiring in 1993 after 18 years.

She is survived by her husband, Darrel of the home, her daughter, Pamela Kay
Williams of Watonga, OK, and three grandchildren: Stacy Ann Williams
attending SWOSU in  Weatherford, OK, Laura Kay Williams attending UCO in  
Edmond, OK, and Darren Mason of Watonga, OK; sister: Lavona Mason  who
was married to Darrel’s brother  Milton who passed in 2001 of Enid, one
nephew Steve Mason and his wife Roxann of Drummond, nieces Peggy Diane
Mason of Stillwater, Linda Mason Gray Kellick and her husband Dennis of
Skiatook, and Carol Fleig and her husband Charlie of North Enid, two great
nephews Scott and Todd, six great nieces Kim, Shona, Amy, Mandy, Andrea,
and Carlie, sister-in-laws, Virgie Hern of  Enid, Betty Woods of Weisor, ID, Janet
Hardin of Irving, TX, brother-in-laws, Jerry Mason of Kansas, and Harry Mason
of  Enid and Albert of Texas, and several other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and infant sons, Jackie Ray Mason,
Gary Lee Mason, brothers, Gerald Hern, Bud Hern and Jim Hern, Albert Dale,
and twin brother Jack Leonard.

Memorials may be made to the Willow View United Methodist Church with
Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds.  Condolences may be
