Ruby was born February 17, 1923 to Joe and Martha (Thomas) Eversole in Red Star, AR. She died Sunday, July 27, 2008 at St Mary’s Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness. She attended school in Davenport, OK. She married Ivan McCullough on February 6, 1956 in Enid. She worked at Dan & Bake and Failings. After injuring her back, she was a stay at home mom. She and Ivan loved going to auctions to buy and refinish antique telephones and radios. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her grandkids were her world. Surviving are her daughter, Jackie and Jim Chavey of Drummond, OK, daughter, Gail and Adam Breaux of Alamo, TX; grandchildren, Jeremy Cochrane, James and Jaci Chavey and Laura Taylor; sisters, Jessie Burger, Jo Burris, Betty Knight and Wanda Moore, and a special friend Verda Wampler of Enid.
