| The funeral service for Ralph Marvin Palmer, age 71 will be held, Sunday, February 24, 2008 at 2:00 pm at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Byron Neufeld will officiate. Burial will be in the Lamont Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Ralph was born December 2, 1936 in Sussex County, NJ to Clifford and Alma C (Baker) Palmer and died, Monday, February 18, 2008 at his home. He graduated from Otisville High School, Otisville, NY. On October 17, 1958 he married Jacqueline J Webster in Enid, OK. He served in the USAF and retired after 21 years. He worked for the City of Lamont for 10 years, the City of Enid for 10 years. He was a volunteer fireman for 10 years for the Lamont Fire Department and worked for the Grant County Sheriffs Department for 12 years. He was a member of the Lamont American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Jackie of the home; his children: William (Bill) Palmer and his wife Diana of Garber, OK, Kathleen (Kathy) Oberlender and her husband Hal of Enid, David Palmer and his wife Gale of Enid, and Leroy Palmer of Enid; grandchildren: Kias, Elizabeth, Kevin, Hal, Michele, Alexandra, Samantha, Many and Mike; great grandchildren Zachery, Tyler, Ashley, Micah and David, Jr; brothers: Douglas Palmer and his wife Sue of Palmetto, FL, Larry Palmer and his wife Pat of Palmetto, FL; sisters: Joan Steward and her husband John of The Villages, FL and Linda McKenna and her husband Bob of The Villages, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds.
