The funeral service for Melva Lee Pyle, age 53 will be held Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 10:00 am at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Brad Cemetery. Melva was born on October 30, 1955 in Wichita, KS to Leroy and Alice Addie (Burns) Stanford and died, February 25, 2009 at St Mary’s Regional Medical Center. She married Lawerance Pyle on July 12, 1974 in Oklahoma City, OK. They moved to Enid in 1989 and have lived here since. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Lawerance of the home, two daughters: Karrie Gritz and Kimberly Pyle; two sons: Lawerance Clifford Pyle and wife Melissa and Kevin Pyle, all of Enid; eight grandchildren: Michael Anderson, Lawerance Cletus “Butchie” Pyle, Angela Pyle, Jacob Gritz, Robert Gritz, and RayLynn Shrum all of Enid; four sisters: Shiril Ford, Lorene Hicks, Alice McKee and Linda Sanders; three brothers: Roy Stanford, Glenn Stanford, and David Stanford; and sister-in-law Dolores Wall all of Oklahoma City.
