| Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at the Ladusau Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev John McLemore of the Central Christian Church of Enid will officiate. Burial will be in the Enid Cemetery. Family visitation will be Monday Evening from 7-8:30 pm at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Roberta was born to Frank and Bessie Nix Brixey in Vinita, Oklahoma on June 12, 1937. She graduated from Adair High School in Adair, Oklahoma in May of 1955. She married Richard Roberts on September 4, 1955 in Adair, Oklahoma. Roberta worked for many years at the Simpson’s Mercantile before retiring in 2005. She enjoyed reading, walking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the Epsilon Sigma Alpha, Epsilon Beta Chapter Roberta is survived by her husband Richard of 54 years of the home, daughter Teri Mason and Son David both of Enid, Grandsons, Jason Heitzman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Aaron Moore of Enid, Granddaughters Kristi Heitzman of New Orleans, LA and Kelli Roberts of Enid, Four sisters, Edna Gay of Pryor, Oklahoma, Margaret Minson and her husband Bill of Watertown, South Dakota, Alberta Cohrs of Piedmont, Oklahoma, Ruth Darnell of Gustine, CA. One brother, Lonnie Brixey and his wife Reva of Vinita, Oklahoma Roberta was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Howard Brixey of Big Cabin, Oklahoma and one sister Ella George of Ketchum, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society of Oklahoma with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds.
