Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 10:00 am at the Memorial Park Cemetery.  Rev Grady
Bohannon will officiate.  Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans
Funeral Home.

He was born December 14, 1944 in Denver, CO to Clarence D and Hester
Elizabeth Campbell Rogers and died early Sunday morning, July 12, 2009 at his
home.

Kirby and his family moved to Hunter, OK in 1945 where they remained until
1959 with a move to Enid.  He was a graduate of Enid High School in 1962 and
went to work for Vance Air Force Base with Northrop Company.  He then traveled,
working for several different companies on several different bases throughout
the country until returning to Vance AFB in 1997, working as a Flight Leadman for
the CSC.  On March 27, 1999 he married the love of his life, Marilyn Gainer in
Enid. Kirby worked for Vance until his illness forced him to leave in March 2009.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn of the home, children: Karla Rogers of Enid,
Kendra Leblanc of Fernley, WY, Lesa Albin of Wichita, KS; stepson, Larry Smith
of Enid and a foster daughter, Donna Brown of Cleveland, TX; nine grandchildren
and a heart felt granddaughter, Megyn Huggins of Enid and brother, C J Rogers
of Enid.

Kirby was preceded in death by his daughter, Starla Rogers and his parents,
Clarence D and Hester Elizabeth Rogers.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love or Oklahoma Medical
Research Foundation – Cancer Division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home
serving as custodian of the funds.  Condolences may be emailed to the family at

Upon Kirby’s request, all who plan on attending the service should wear casual
attire or uniforms for work.
