| The memorial service for John D Salladay, age 47, will be held Monday, November 17, 2008 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church. Rev Keith Miller will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. John was born on December 23, 1960 in Okmulgee, OK to Richard Eugene Salladay, Sr and Mary Elizabeth Jordan and died at his home, Thursday, November 13, 2008 in Enid. He graduated from Enid High School in 1979. He joined the US Army in 1981. and then was honorably discharged. He returned to Okmulgee Technical School and received an auto mechanic degree. He had lived in Enid since then. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He is survived by five brothers, Mike Salyer, Davy Salladay, Danny Salladay, Buddy Berginnis and Richard Salladay, Jr; one sister, Sue Owens; and several nieces and nephews: Sarah Salladay, Deborah Salladay, Karen Salladay, James Salladay, Jonathan Salladay, Jacob Salladay and Jimmy Salladay. He was preceded in death by his parents, his step father, Ray Allen, a brother, James Salyer and a sister, Deborah Salladay.
