Helen LaJune Spears, 91, died Friday morning at St. Mary’s Regional Medical
Center after almost two months of declining health resulting from a hip fracture.

She professed her faith in Jesus Christ at an early age, and had been a

First Christian Church there, on February 6, 1944.

They later moved to Enid and then to Waukomis, where the Rev Spears was
pastor of the Christian Church, and later to Snyder, where she was a teller at
First National Bank for approximately 14 years.  The family returned to Enid in
1958, and Mrs Spears finished out her long years in the banking industry at First
National Bank of Enid.

Poellet of Oak Creek, WI; a stepson, Allen Spears and his wife, Colleen
Sheppard of Nashville, TN; and a stepdaughter, Valdean and her husband the
Rev H Wallis Dobson, of Greeneville, TN.  Survivors also include a grandson,
