| Funeral services for Barbara M West, age 74 will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 10:00 am at Ladusau-Evans Chapel. Burial will follow in the Del Norte Cemetery, Drummond. Rev Stanley Jenkins will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Barbara was born May 26, 1935 in Long Beach, CA to Tracy and Ruth Warren Starr and died July 12, 2009 at St Mary’s Regional Medical Center. She was the step daughter of James (Ike) Lytle. She attended schools in Enid and graduated from Enid High in 1953. She attended college at Oklahoma State. She married Rex West in Enid on April 1, 1955. She worked at Champlin Refinery offices as a key punch operator. She moved to Topeka, Ks with her husband in 1959. She worked at Sears and the Goodyear Plant in Topeka. She lived in Garden City, KS from 1970 to 1977 and moved to Enid in 1977. She is survived by her husband, Rex, three sons: Matthew West of Garden City, KS, Mark West of Enid, OK and Wade West of Enid, OK; two daughters: Rexann Sachs of Rapid City, SD, Lori Bolton of Oklahoma City, OK; four granddaughters and four grandsons and one great granddaughter.
