Condolences

Condolence From: Dick Malone
Condolence: I was very sad to here about Aunt Jodean. I remember how well she took care of me when I would go to the farm in the summer. I really enjoyed going to Oklahoma in the summer. I liked working with Tim and uncle Jay, you know I still think of thoughs times. Aunt Jodean always would say I was her favorite nephew, then she would laugh and say I was her only nephew. She also made me a quilt and I still have it to this day. I am going to miss Aunt Jodean very much.

Condolence: Kathi--Like my sister, Suzanne, I too remember Jodean's infectious laugh. I remember your last visit to New Mexico & a photo you took of Jodean & Mom chatting with their feet resting on their walkers. They were two of a kind. She'll always have a special place in my heart & I'm hoping that all settles down for you & Tim soon. I'll always appreciate all you did for Jodean in her last months.

Condolence: Tim and Kathi, Duke and I wanted to let you know how sorry we are that your sweet Mom has passed. I have so many wonderful memories of her. I loved her laugh and I worked very hard to think of stories to tell her that would make her laugh. I also loved her cooking. My little recipe box is full of Aunt Jodean's special dishes. My Mom (Ernestine) came home from a visit with Jodean and Jay and she said "you know, I never realized that Jodean hums all the time!" I laughed and said "so do you, Mom" and she said "I do not!" Jodean was a never-to-be forgotten person in my life.

Condolence: Tim and Kathi, I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Jodean. She and Jay were like second parents to me. You will not remember, but I worked on the farm in Drummond from 1956 to 1961. Jodean was an awesome lady and I will treasure her memory forever. Gary and Myra Easton Springfield, Virginia
