Celebration of Life Services for Ruth Pettitt, age 74, of Enid, will be held Monday, August 18, 2014 at 10:00 am at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Kenneth Wade will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, August 17, 2014 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Ruth was born June 15, 1940 to Glenn and Ruth Coslett of Danville, KS and died August 15, 2014 in Enid, OK. She resided in Wichita, KS before moving to Enid, OK. She met and married Kenneth Wayne Pettitt and they made their home in Enid. Ruth worked for Zales Jewelers for over 25 years and Wal-Mart stores for almost 15 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Shari and Jesse Lamunyon and family of Waukomis, OK; and Lori Maddox and family of Livingston, TX, two sons, Keith and Sandra Reynolds and family of Livingston, TX and Ronnie Gene Reynolds of Livingston, TX; one stepdaughter, Vicki and Gary Mills and family of Ardmore, OK; two sisters Rita Cole of Blackwell, OK, Willadean and Earl Coffman of Wichita, KS; one brother, Verle and Jean Ann Coslett of Oklahoma City, OK and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ken and son, Terry; brother, Kenneth and sister, Jewels N Fullen.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodians of the funds.
