Condolence: To those who loved Ms. Hitchcock,
I never met Ms. Hitchcock, but I was greatly encouraged by her. I'm the local coordinator of Child Evangelism Fellowship of Greater New Orleans. At the onset of becoming the "acting" director of this chapter in 2010, I began receiving financial support from Ms. Hitchcock. I was curious about who she was and her interest in the ministry here. I was never able to find out. Not receiving the faithful support these past months, I began to suspect the worst. Only today did I learn of her passing. I wish I could have gotten to know Ms. Hitchcock. Her belief in the ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship in Greater New Orleans meant a lot to me starting out not really knowing what I was doing.
I was encouraged to make the most of her trust in our work. She left a legacy of encouragement.
