Obituary for George Robert Lang

A Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for George R. Lang, 94, of Enid, will be Saturday, November 8, 2014, 2:00 PM at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Interment will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery.

George was born August 13, 1920 in Fairmont, OK the son of George and Tillie Loesch Lang and passed away November 5, 2014. George was a veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII. He was united in marriage to Elinora Maschmeier, March 11, 1987 in Enid and she preceded him in death February 6, 2010. George was a lifelong farmer. George enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing bingo and feeding the wild animals on the farm. He will be remembered as a kind man with gentle spirit and a big heart.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Edna Lang of Enid, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Art Lang, a sister, Elsie Ragoss and husband Walter and a nephew, Joe Lang.
