Terry was born May 29, 1940 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Elmo and Geraldine (Leckey) Boswell, and passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 in Midwest City, Oklahoma with his loving family at his side.

Terry graduated from Field-Kindley High School in Coffeyville, Kansas with the class of 1958. Following high school, he joined the United States Army and served his country for the next three years. He also enjoyed fine cars, especially Mercedez Benz. Terry was a member of the Elks Lodge, and a volunteer for Singles Available for Community Service (SACS), and Celebrate Nostalgic Coffeyville, a philanthropic organization for the revitalization of Coffeyville, Kansas, his home town.
