A Celebration of Life Service for Virginia M. Roberts age 88 of Enid will be 10:00 am Monday, October 3, 2016 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Virginia was born July 17, 1928 in Peoria, IL to Jack and Ruth Reese and died September 29, 2016 in Enid, OK.

Virginia married William “Bill” Roberts on July 9, 1955 in Perry, OK and he passed away February 23, 2008. She later married Fred Harmon on March 7, 2009 and he passed away July 21, 2011.

Virginia and Bill lived in Tonkawa for 20 years, they moved to Guymon, OK where they owned and operated two motels, Savaii and Roberts Motel. They moved to Childress, TX for two years and owned and operated the Classic Inn. They retired and moved to Crescent, OK for 10 years and then moved to Waukomis.

She is survived by her son Bill Roberts, Jr and daughter June Webb both of Enid, 6 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, sister June Fletcher of Hanna City, IL, son in law Tom Martin, and step daughter Doris and DJ Jantz of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Liz Martin, grandson Tommy Martin, two sisters, and a brother.
