A Celebration of Life service for Doris E. Vaughn age 76 of Onaga, KS formerly of Enid will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Vernon Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Waukomis Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Doris was born September 30, 1941 in Cortez, CO to Lonnie and Rosie Gilliland Aulston and passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017 in Onaga, KS. She grew up in Cortez and attended school. Doris married Huey Vaughn on October 21.1958 in Okmulgee, OK and he passed away August 11, 2009. They moved to Enid in 1967. She worked at Vance Air Force Base in the mail room as a mail carrier until she retired in 2005. She attended First Assembly of God Church.
Doris is survived by her son Terry Vaughn and wife Jill of Onaga, KS, two daughters Carlene Latta of OKC and Charlene Caudill and husband Gary of Carlisle, Ohio, 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, and sister Della Richardson of Tempe, AZ.
Memorials may be made to OMRF- Cancer Division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
