Obituary for David Peter Visich

A Celebration of Life service for David P. Visich age 69 of Garber-Hunter Community will be 3:00 pm Thursday, April 5, 2018. Burial will be in the White Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
David was born October 20, 1948 in Walsenberg, CO to Peter D. Visich and Eunice Ramstell Sands and passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 at his home.
David entered in the U. S. Marine on July 16, 1970 during the Vietnam Conflict and was honorably discharged on January 13, 1975.
He married Sheryl (Sherry) Anderson on December 31, 1972 in Reno, Nevada.
David worked as a home builder in Oklahoma and California and worked for Mare Island Naval Shipyard in the Public Works Dept. He loved his family and grandchildren, pets and all wildlife. He loved to be outdoors and being with his friends. He moved to Hunter-Garber community in 2009.
He is survived by his wife Sherry of the home, daughter Natasha Usery of Hartford Alabama, four grandchildren; Brianna, Logan, Maeli, and Saxon, one great grandchild Rowan, a brother Thomas Willis, two sister’s Paulette Hill and Penny Khouie and several other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Judy Lerseth and brother Mike Mortsen.
