A Celebration of Life for Gary Waine Dodds, age 67 years, of Enid, is 2:00 pm, Friday, May 4, 2018 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gene Long to officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Gary was born in Enid, Oklahoma on August 13, 1950 to Newell DuWaine and Amelia (Hirst) Dodds, and passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Integris Bass Baptist Hospital in Enid.

Gary attended Enid High School, graduating with the class of 1969. He worked as a switchman for Santa Fe Railroad for 20 years before retiring in 1993. Gary enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports, and he also enjoyed playing pool and cards.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Newell and Amelia Dodds. He is survived by four sons, Dustin Dodds and wife Leslie, of Enid; Brandon Dodds and wife Alexia, of Enid; Kyle Dodds and wife Amber, of Enid, Oklahoma; Clint Dodds and wife Mayme, of Yukon; seven grandchildren, Tanner, Edy, Taylor, Jayden, Madalyn, Maci and Bensley Dodds; two brothers, Steve Dodds and wife Ally, of Stevens Point, WI; Richard Dodds and wife Karen, of Enid; and sister Cheryl Graham and husband Danny, of Edmond; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials in Gary’s name may be made to the charity of choice with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
