Inez was born May 25, 1929 in Enid, the daughter of Cecil C. Hays and Opha Mabel (Ivey) Hays, and passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 in Enid following a short illness.

Inez accepted Christ as her Savior when she was seven years old at Banner Hall, North of Enid. Inez joined Calvary Baptist Church in Enid in 1943, being baptized by H. Grady Lambert. She married Tom Nance in Flint, Michigan on August 30, 1968 and they celebrated 38 years of marriage until his passing on June 10, 2006. She and Tom joined Calvary Baptist Church and were active members there.
