John Arnold, 84, of Enid, passed away April 19, 2019. Cremation services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
John M. Arnold was born March16, 1935 to Virgil H. Arnold and Reatha May Toews in Great Plains, Missouri and passed away April 19, 2019 in Enid, Oklahoma. John married Jean Alban and together they had two sons, Brett and Bart Arnold. He worked as a police officer in Salina, Kansas from 1960-1965, reaching the rank of LT. He then moved to California where he worked various jobs. After he moved to Enid where he worked for Great Lakes Carbon for 29 years retiring as a foreman.
John is survived by his son, Bart Arnold and wife Dawn; one granddaughter Brittany and husband Ryan; one brother, Bill Arnold; one sister, Nancy Longstreth; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his son, Brett Arnold; his parents, Virgil Arnold and Reatha Toews; brother, Bob Arnold; and sister, Linda Cook.
