Obituary for Donald I. Wiggins
Graveside services for the immediate family of Donald I. Wiggins, age 91, of Enid, are 10:00 am, Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Carrell Still officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Don was born July 21, 1928 in Ringwood, Oklahoma to Ira and Anna Pearl (Sears) Wiggins, and passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020 in Enid.
He married Vada L. Valtr on September 8, 1947, and they were married 52 years prior to her passing in July of 1999. Don worked for Chisholm Public Schools as a janitor and bus driver for over 40 years.
Don is preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Anna Wiggins; wife Vada; son, Jeffrey Wiggins; daughter-in-law, Theresa Wiggins; two brothers, Joe and Harley Wiggins; and a sister, Dorothy Kemp. He is survived by a son, Mike Wiggins, of Sapulpa, OK; two grandsons, Brad Wiggins, of Kremlin, OK; Todd Wiggins and wife Chelsea, of Enid; granddaughter, Lindi Wiggins, of Sapulpa, OK; daughter-in-law, Debbie Wiggins of Kremlin, OK; six great-grandchildren, Zoey, Zane, Dallas, Grace, David and Lesa; two sisters, Glendene Stewart, of Ringwood, OK; Ramona Lanza, of Dallas, TX; and a brother, Robert Wiggins and wife Maxi, of Ringwood, OK; as well as nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Memorial contributions in Don’s name may be made to Humanity Hospice with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
