Obituary for Burns L. Robinson

A Celebration of Life Service for Burns “Red” L. Robinson age 85 of Enid will be 1:00 pm Saturday, June 27, 2020 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Military Honors will be provided by Vance Air Force Base. The family will receive friends Friday evening 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Red was born September 11, 1934 in Phil Campbell, AL to J. W. and Carrie Hamilton Robinson and passed away June 22, 2020 at his home. He entered the U. S. Air Force in 1955 and retired in 1975 and continued to work Civil Service until he retired in 1991. He married Mary Dobbs on May 24, 1956 in Enid and she passed away December 12, 2011. Burns loved to fish and spend time with his family. He loved long drives and drinking his coffee watching and whistling at the birds every morning. He loved to listen to old country music and drink a cold beer.
He is survived by his seven children; Marty Robinson, Perry and wife Christine Robinson, Bobby and wife Karen Robinson, Mickey Robinson, Roy and wife Tina Robinson, Betty Robinson, and Connie Mack and wife Lisa Robinson, several grandchildren, Ryan, Elizabeth and Robert, Amanda, Christina and Jeff, and Michael, great grandchildren; Emma, Mackenzie, Ava, Cameron, Brooke, Wheatley, Kenley, Addison, and Kyce.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary, daughter Patty Jean, and grandson Christopher Robinson.
