Graveside services for Johnnie (John) Slavin will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 26, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Jim Edmison officiating. Services are under the direction of Ladusau- Evans Funeral Home.
He was born July 3, 1949, in Perry, Oklahoma to James and Margie Stout Slavin. He attended school in Perry. He served six years in the Army National Guard. John worked for the State of Oklahoma, Ditch Witch and Noble County. He owned and operated S & S Pest Control for over twenty years.
John is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sonja Slavin; daughters, Angie and her husband Dr. Ed Barns, of Jenks, Christy Slavin, of Enid, three granddaughters, Brittany and her husband Cyle Abbott of Jenks, Brieanne Mullenix and boyfriend Jesse Cartwright of Enid, Mikaela Barns of Norman; grandsons, Colton Barns of Kansas City, Brendan Barns of Guymon; great grandson, Cole Alan Abbott of Jenks, brothers, Albert Slavin of Lawton, Gary Slavin of Waukomis; grand dogs, Spencer and Macy.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Slavin and infant daughter Johanna.
