Obituary for Lyle Lee Ingraham

A Celebration of Life Service for Lee Ingraham age 85 of Enid will be 2:00 pm Thursday, October 15, 2020 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Dr. Robert Courtney officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
L. Lee Ingraham born November 26,1934 in Enid, Oklahoma at his grandparents’ home on South Buchanan to Lyle and Vera (Carson) Ingraham. Lee went to be with our heavenly father on Monday October 12,2020 at home. Lee graduated from Hillsdale High School in 1952 and continued education at Oklahoma A&M with a petroleum engineering degree and graduated with honors. While attending Oklahoma A&M he met, Nancy Jane King whom he married on September 4,1955. Lee went to work for Humble oil (Exxon Mobil) which took the newlyweds to Texas. Lee and Nancy welcomed three sons, Bruce, Scott and Brian. In 1963 Lee went to work for OG&E in Oklahoma City. While working full time, being a father, and a farmer, Lee obtained a law degree at Oklahoma City University where he graduated the top three of his class. Lee, Nancy and his family moved to Enid, OK to the family farm in 1975 where Lee opened a fulltime law practice. Lee and Nancy began to travel abroad in 1995. Farming was Lee’s passion and he continued to do this during retirement. Lee was an active member of the Hillsdale Bible Church. Family and Friends are welcome at the Hillsdale Bible Church after the service for food and refreshments.
Lee is preceded in death by his parents: Lyle and Vera Ingraham; brother David Ingraham.
He is survived by his loving wife Nancy, three sons, Bruce and wife Jane, Scott and wife Kathy and Brian Ingraham, grandchildren: Brad and wife Ashley, David and wife Tami, Katy, Andrew and wife Alex, Nick, and seven great-grandchildren, Tyler, Noel, Christopher, Chelsea, Harper, Liam, and Silas.
Memorials may be made to Hillsdale Bible Church-Missions Fund with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
