Virgil was born to Virgil Raymond Gose, Sr. and Mamie Ilene (Johnson) Gose, December 25,1945, in Enid, Oklahoma, and passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on January 8, 2021. Psalm chapter 116 verse 15 reminds us “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints”. Earlier in life, he accepted Christ’s love and forgiveness. This was evident in the words of his grandson, Mark Ryan Nelson, “Early this morning my grandpa was called to his heavenly home and stepped into the light of God’s loving presence. He was a man of faith who not only loved his family but loved his neighbors. While I am very sad to say goodbye, I know we will be together again one day. I can only imagine the amazing reunion he is having up inheaven right now. Love you, GPA!”.
