A Graveside Service for Opal S. (Raper) Wood, age 95, of Enid, will be 11:00 am, January, 27, 2021 at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with Reverend Bill Smith officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Opal was born August 4, 1925 in Thomas, Oklahoma to John and Artie Frances (Johnson) Raper, and passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at her home in Enid.

Opal is survived by seven grandchildren, Laura Kawcak, of Enid; Andrea Kawcak, of Spokane, CO; Matthew Thompson, of San Antonio, TX; Heidi Finley, of Lakesteven, WA; Becky Dunn, of Tacoma, WA; Kevin Wood, of Enid, OK; and Sean Wood, of Enid. She also leaves thirteen great-grandchildren, Jeramy, Kaylie, Britnie, Shelby, Jacob, Nickie, Dale, Erin, Christy, Isaac, Miles, Ellis and Cody; as well as thirteen great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene A. Wood; daughter, Seibrena Kawsak; son, Johnny A. Wood; a grandson, Wayne E. Kawcak; three brothers; three sisters; and sweet friend, Red Layman.

Memorial contributions in Opal’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
