Obituary for Larry Lynn Young
A Memorial Service for Larry “Papa Bear” Young, age 79, of Enid, is 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Wade Burleson officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Larry was born March 22, 1942 in Cherokee, Oklahoma to Virgil and Lorraine (Williams) Young, and passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021 at home in Enid.
Larry is survived by three children; daughter, Kathy Harzman and Zack Bramhall, of Eureka Springs, AR; daughter, Sheri Nelson and husband Doug, of Enid; son, Troy Young and wife Charlene, of Edmond; sixteen grand and great-grandchildren; brother, Duane Young and wife Susan, of Dallas, TX; and sister, Joyce Manning and husband Ron, of Enid; and former wife, Rita Cook and husband Chuck, of Enid.
Memorial contributions in Larry’s name may be made to the Harold Hamm Diabetes Center with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
