Obituary for Eddie Mae Stamps (Chrystal)

Eddie Mae Stamps, (Mom) was born to Eddie Edgar Chrystal, and Cassie Chrystal on May 25, 1952. Mom was the baby girl. Her siblings, Sammy Chrystal, Charles AKA Boo Chrystal, Dorthy Chrystal, Earlene Traylor, Darlene Chrystal, Allen Barker and Albert Barker.
Eddie Mae is preceded in death by her father and mother, Eddie and Cassie; brothers, Sammy, Charles, Albert; sisters, Earlene and Darlene.
Eddie Mae Stamps was the proud mother of four sons and one daughter, Rodney, Edward Robert, Demetrius and Veronica; Veronica preceded her into Glory.
Eddie Mae accepted Jesus Christ at a young age; she sang in the choir and loved talking to others about Jesus. Her hobbies were sewing, where she made the most beautiful quilts. She enjoyed playing bingo, the arcades: her favorite game was Mrs. Pac-Man. She was pretty good. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met, there was no strangers to her, and if she thought they needed a helping hand she would give them the Biscuit off her plate. Mom worked many years in the housekeeping industry. She was a Q.A. and even picked eggs to help support her family.
There was no sacrifice she wouldn’t make to protect her children. She will be missed by her brother and sister, sons, grandchildren, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
Love you Eddie Mae Stamps. Till we meet again.

The family would like to thank each of you today for your acts of kindness. Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat in a chair; perhaps you sent a floral piece, If so, we saw it there.
Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any friends could say; perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day.
Whatever you did to console our hearts, we thank you so much whatever the part.
The Family
