Obituary for Lester Eugene Wright
Graveside services for Lester Wright, 95, of Enid, Oklahoma, will be 10:00am, Friday, July 8, 2022 at Grange Cemetery Honey Creek, Iowa.
Lester was born August 1, 1926 in Crescent, Iowa to Jim and Hazel Wright and passed away June 29, 2022 in Enid, Oklahoma. Lester married Betty Bailey on December 1, 1948 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was one of nine children. Lester served in WWII in the Army. He and Betty had twins, Terry and Sherry, who have preceded them in death. Lester retired from Massey Ferguson Implement Company after 30 years. He enjoyed playing golf with his grandsons, and always had a huge vegetable garden. Lester grew the best tasting home grown tomatoes.
Lester is survived by son-in-law Kerry Pasby; grandchildren, Chad Pasby and wife Carie; Bradley Pasby and wife Kristina; Blaine Wright and wife Ashley; Bambi Waitman and husband Mike; as well as Jorey, Stockton, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, seven siblings, his wife, a son and a daughter.
