Barbara Denise Carris

Barbara Carris, age 65, of Enid, passed away at home on March 29, 2026. Barbara was born on August 7, 1960, in Enid, OK to John and Maxine Woodard. She spent her life in the Enid community, where she was known for her kindness and dedication to her family.

Barbara worked for many years as a Med Aide at the Enid State School, where she cared for others with compassion and commitment. Her work reflected her generous spirit and her deep desire to help those in need.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Timothy D. Carris; two brothers, Cecil Ray Osborne and Larry Wayne Osborne; and her parents John and Maxine Woodard. She is survived by two sons, Shane Ward and his wife Kelly Ward, and Erik Ward; ex-husband Charlie Ward; grandchildren, Chance Ward, Zarah Ward, Hailey Ward, Avery Ward, and Melanie Hladik; great-grandchildren, River Ward and Ryker Ward.

Barbara will be remembered for her caring heart, her devotion to family and the love she shared with those around her. She leaves behind cherished memories that will be held close by all who knew her.

Services for Barabara Carris will be at 2:00pm, Friday, April 3, 2026, at the columbarium southwest monument in the Memorial Park Cemetery.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
