Bob was born October 9, 1937, in Manchester, OK to Joseph E. and Inez Leota (Woodring) Bennett and passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, at his home surrounded by the love of his family.
Bob grew up in Manchester, where he completed high school and built lifelong friendships. On February 24, 1961, he married the love of his life Carolyn Sue Cunningham, in Alva, OK. The two shared nearly 65 wonderful years together, creating a home filled with laughter, love, and music.
In service to his country, Bob enlisted in the U. S. Army on February 2, 1960, and proudly served until his honorable discharge on January 31, 1966. A man of deep faith, Bob was a devoted member of Oakwood Christian Church, active in the Seekers Sunday School Class and Prime timers' group. He found joy in fellowship, worship and serving others.
