A Celebration of Life Service for Clara Faulk will be 2:00 pm, Friday July 11, 2025, at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Gilliland officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery; service arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Clara June (Vatterodt) Faulk, age 87, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025. She was born June 12, 1938, in Lyons, Kansas, to George and Lorine (Leftwich) Vatterodt. Clara graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
After high school, she married her first husband, Rufus Faulk, in Oklahoma City. She later married Richard "Dick" Jones in 1962, whom she met while working as a paralegal at a law firm in Oklahoma City. Clara and Dick went on to build a successful business together, operating several nationwide bail bond companies. She also worked as an insurance underwriter during her career. Clara was a devoted mother, stepmother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Clara is survived by her children: son Ron Jones and wife Cindy; daughter Tammy Hester and husband Tony; daughter Susan Roberts and husband Danny; daughter Tina Bear; stepdaughters Brenda Pritchett and Renee Brooks; and stepson Robert Faulk. She was a proud grandmother to Brandi Roberts, Ryan Roberts, Amy Becerra, Sarah Foglia, Dane Jones, Paige Roberts, Landry Bear, Lindsay Presgrove, Brandon Bear, Truett Hester, Tancy Hester, step-grandsons Matthew Lucas and Garrett Baker, and step-granddaughters Haylee Brooks and Sophia Faulk. Clara was also a cherished great-grandmother to Tyler Roberts, Nikki Allgood, Shane Roberts, Dylan Roberts, Maddison Roberts, Austyn Becerra, Laynie Roberts, Ace Foglia, Skylar Bear, Terra Bear, Tatum Rose and Olivia Lucas. She was preceded in death by her first husband Rufus Faulk, second husband Richard "Dick" Jones, and sister Shirley Goff.
Clara was a long-time and faithful member of First Baptist Church in Enid, Oklahoma. She was active in the Enid Civitan International Club and MOPS of Enid, OK, demonstrating her commitment to community and service. Clara had a passion for tennis, gardening, painting, antiques, and above all, her unwavering faith and cherished family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Clara's memory to, Enid Civitan Club, VNA Texas Hospice & Palliative Care in Collin County, or the First Baptist Church of Enid Ministries, with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
Clara's life was full of love, strength, and generosity. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
