Edna Hyle

A Celebration of Life Service for Edna Marie Hyle, age 81, of Enid, will be 2:00pm, Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Vernon Lee officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery, service and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Edna was born March 21, 1944 in Vallejo, California at Mare Island Navel Base, to Stanley and Wilma Marie (Plumlee) Holmes, and passed away at Enid Senior Care on Monday, December 8, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

She graduated from Enid High School in 1963, she married Victor Hyle on February 17, 1963, and on June 12, of the same year had a son Jimmy Lee. They made their home in Drummond, OK for two years, before moving to Enid in 1965. She worked for St. Mary's for several years, before going to work Northrop at Vance Air Force Base for several years, until she retired in the late nineties.

Edna is preceded in death by her parents; husband Victor; and brother Dale Holmes. She is survived by her son Jimmy; brother Bill (Debbie) Holmes; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in Edna's name may be made to Complete Hospice, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
