On December 3, 1959, in Enid, Oklahoma, God made the world a little brighter when He blessed us with the birth of Emma Victoria Frazier. She was created in love when her parents, Eddie and Bessie Frazier, decided that nine children just weren't quite enough.

Known as Emma or Vicky, depending on how you knew her, she was a star student growing up. She attended Adams Elementary, Longfellow Junior High, Enid High School, and Phillips University. In school, she was a devoted lover of the arts playing violin in the orchestra and taking on acting roles in school plays, most notably The Crucible, all while maintaining a waitressing job at The Hickory Hut.

After college, Emma began her career at the Northern Oklahoma Resource Center of Enid and later at Evergreen Life Services, before returning to NORCE for her retirement tour. There, her passion for advocating for those without a voice shined through. She had a gift for making people who were often overlooked feel seen, and she provided peace and comfort for those in the midst of life's chaos.

Outside of work, Vicky could almost always be found at church, praising the Lord with the same passion she carried into every other part of her life. Over the years, she served as a Sunday School teacher, Sunshine Band youth choir director, prayer leader, and Bible study teacher. She also wrote and directed plays for the church youth group, performed in community theater, and embraced any opportunity to give God all the glory.

Later in life, Emma embraced her entrepreneurial spirit and founded Emma's Shining Jewels. Through her business, she ministered through fashion "going live" to showcase her jewelry while chatting with old and new friends alike. With her radiant smile and love for Jesus, she would always let her light "Shine, Shine, Shine." For Emma, helping people look good and feel good came as naturally as breathing.

The true highlight of her life, however, was becoming a grandmother. When her grandson was born, her light didn't just shine, it blazed. The way she lovingly looked at him could melt the coldest heart. They quickly became best friends, spending countless moments texting and video chatting, squeezing joy into every free second between the busy schedules of a toddler and a retiree.

On August 21, 2025, God called Emma home perhaps to help find the perfect piece of jewelry for a Heavenly celebration in her honor. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Bessie, and her brother, Eddie Frazier Jr. She is survived by her children, Joshua (Kayla) and Shalonnda; her beloved grandson, the light of her life, Lucas Kash; brothers Donnie, Craig, Royce, John, Robert, and Faithan; sisters Jean, Edna, Patricia, Pamela, and Ordalia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will carry her memory forward.

As we mourn the loss of such a bright light, we take comfort in knowing the impact she left during her time on earth, the joy she spread through every interaction, and the love she planted in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Memorials can be made out to Martin Luther King Scholarship Foundation, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as the custodian of the funds.
