Helen Davis

A Celebration of Life Service for Helen Lee Davis, age 91, of Enid, will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Sommerfield officiating. Burial will follow at IOOF Marshall South Cemetery, service and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Helen was born on July 4, 1933 in Ashdown, Arkansas to Jesse and Ola (Brothers) Jones, and passed away on June 4, 2025 in Enid, surrounded by her family. She married Lester Davis on April 22, 1950 in Mena, Arkansas, until his passing on April 3, 1992 in Enid. Helen later married Marlin Nulik, until his passing on January 16, 2006. She served as President of the Pioneer/Pleasant Vale Lions Club. Helen was a lifetime member of the Calvary Baptist Church and later joined Grace Mennonite Church. She was a lifeline and compassionate caregiver, rendering aid to many members in the community. Helen had a servant's heart.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents, husbands Lester Davis and Marlin Nulik; daughters, Sharon Streck and Sandra Davis.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan Waggoner and husband Howard, and Jannet Dobrinski and husband James; grandchildren, Sonya Davis, Joseph Dobrinski, Mary Ann Dobrinski, Jonathan Dobrinski, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren and several step grandchildren

In leu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions in Helen's name be made to Grace Mennonite Church with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
