Jacqueline Cappel McCart

Jacqueline Marie Feil Cappel McCart, RN, 93, of Alexandria, LA, and Nash, OK, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2026, in Enid, OK. Jacqueline (Jackie) was born in Nash, OK on February 4, 1933. She graduated from Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa, OK in 1954 with a diploma in nursing. In 1955, she joined the U.S. Air Force and served as a 1st Lt. in the 3rd Air Force Hospital for the European Command in London, England. There she met her future husband, Dr. Jack Thompson Cappel Jr. They were married on March 2, 1957. Jacqueline is predeceased by her parents, Lauretta Jackson and Fredric Feil, her sister Shirley Loraine Feil Maus (James) and her first husband Jack. She subsequently married Bobby McCart on July 2, 2017, who survives her.

Additionally, Jacquleine is survived by her sons Scott (Julie) of Winter Haven, FL and Mark of Pineville, LA.; by her daughters Lisa Hatipoglu (Yelchan) of Jacksonville, FL, and Kristin Lamonica (Glen) of Baton Rouge, LA.; and her brother Jon Feil (Jan) of Alba, TX. A private Celebration of Life for the family will be held on July 25th, 2026 along with a brief Visitation at the Nash Cemetery.
