Jean Lenore Neese (Pearson), 87, of Enid, peacefully passed away on July 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Jean was born on March 4, 1938, in Enid, OK to Arnold and Mary Pearson (Palacek).
Jean graduated from Enid High School in 1956 where she played the drums and was active in the Enid Legionettes. She also participated in ballet and tap dancing.
Jean married William (Bill) Hill in 1957, and they had four children. In 1966 she started Hi-Go Farms with long-time friend Dora Goodier where they spent many years teaching kids to ride horses and going to horse shows. She was then co-owner of Neese Enterprises selling Shaklee products for 40 years.
In 1978, she moved to Syracuse, KS. A few years later, she met her current spouse Robert (Bob) Neese and moved to Lakin, KS when they married in 1982. In 1984, they returned to Enid where she became active in Ambucs, Mother's club, and the Christian Women's Fellowship (CWF). She was a very active life-time member at the Christian Church of the Covenant where she was in the choir, served on the Board and also as a Deacon and Elder. Jean achieved the Leo Christian stewardship service award for outstanding service.
Jean was a great seamstress, and she made many clothes for her children. She enjoyed crafting, painting, and playing Bridge with her friends. She loved her family dearly and was always present at grandchildren's events and available to care for them.
Remaining to cherish Jeans's memory are spouse, Bob Neese; children, Teri Luckett, Penny Boyer (Alan), Mindi Dearing (Danny); stepsons Todd Neese (Barbara), Tim Neese (Eric); 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and her brother Dale Pearson.
Preceding Jean in death are her parents and her son Randy Bill Hill.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 10:00 am Monday, August 4, 2025, at the Christian Church of the Covenant with Rev. Shelby Maddox officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Memorials may be made to the Christian Church of the Covenant or Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
