Celebration of Life service for Pastor Jerry D. Brown, age 85, of Marshall, will be 10:00 AM Saturday October 12, 2024 at Lucien Faith Church with Pastors Don and Lana Knott officiating. Service and cremation arrangements under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

 Jerry was born on the family farm in North of Marshall, OK on August 15, 1939, to Harold and Dorothy (Pownell) Brown, and passed away on October 3, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. He graduated from Covington-Douglas High School, then he attended OSU and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Jerry married the love of his life Nancy Estes, on February 5, 1966 in Ponca City OK, and they were married for 58 years.

 He worked for Conoco in Ponca City for twenty years, retiring in 1979. He was then called into Pastoral Ministry and Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO. He served in various churches including St. Johns Lutheran Church in Covington, retiring in 2010.

 Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ronald, and David Brown. He is survived by his wife Nancy; children, Kelly and Jon Rich, Tim Brown, and Todd Brown. Brother Daniel Brown and wife Susan; grandchildren, Natalie and husband Stephen Hutzler, Kylie Rich and fiancé Cody Lewis, Trischa Clow, Clayton Brown, Savanah Quinones and husband Chris, Cameron Brown and Jenna Brown; and five great grandchildren, Payden, Gracelynn, Amelia, Gavin, Hunter, Kailyn, and Hayden; as well as nieces and nephews.

 Memorial contributions in Jerry’s name may be made to the Lucien Faith Church Music Ministry with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
