She was born April 9, 1939, the daughter of Virgil A. and Dorothy O Collins Short.
Survivors include her husband, Leroy, four brothers, Leon, Allen, Orville and Charles, a sister, Clara Wages and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two brothers.
